A hybrid cross between an Amaryllis (Belladonna Lily) and a Brunsvigia, Amarygia Parkeri produces large rounded bulbs and extraordinary large fragrant irredescent pink trumpet flowers that are arranged in full circle around the tall flower stem. Like all members of this family the flowers appear before the foliage making a beautiful display in late Summer. Along with a light fragrance and the absolute lack of maintenance required to successfully grow these bulbs they make a worthy addition to any garden.

Like all bulbs of this family, plant with the neck out of the ground, and make sure they are in a well drained soil. Amarygia are sometimes shy to flower after being planted so they are best left to naturalise into clumps and they will withstand long dry periods whilst dormant. Bulbs can be damaged by extremely wet conditions during the Winter and Spring so ensure bulbs are planted in a well drained soil. Protect from heavy frost.
