Often mistaken for an artificial plant, Zanzibar Gem shows off gracefully arching fleshy stems with waxy fleshy oval shaped leaves. Zanzibar Gem will grow well in both low light and bright indirect light making it ideal for just about any position in the home or office- in fact, the indoor places this plant will not grow are very limited but bright sunlight will cause the leaves to yellow off so care does need to be taken in this situation. For best results use a good quality premium potting mix and water only when the soil is bone dry. Fertilise using a general purpose fertiliser once a year, following the packet directions for quantity and frequency.
