A stunning deciduous self clinging creeper, Virginia Creeper is a vigorous deciduous climber that has bright green palmate shaped foliage in Summer, changing to brilliant Autumn colours as the weather becomes cooler. For best colour grow in colder climates. A member of the same family as Grapevines, Virginia Creeper has insignificant green flowers in Spring that may become purplish black berries in Summer. These are non toxic to birds but may cause kidney damage if eaten by humans.

Parthenocissus is a self-clinging climber and is ideal for covering almost anything. It does not need support and is able to grow quite high and wide if required. Excellent for providing Summer shade but letting valuable sunlight through in Winter. Lightly prune to shape as required.
Prefers well drained soil in a full sun or part shade position. Water after planting until established.
