Showing off large mauve flowers, Stokesia Mauve Skyrocket makes a fantastic cut flower due to it's long stems and extended vase life. Extremely attractive to bees and butterflies, this hardy perennial is also known as Stokes' Aster and will show off a profusion of largepale mauve flowers held above the leathery green leaves from early Summer right through till the first signs of Winter.

This hardy perennial is incredibly easy to grow and will cope with heat and humidity making it a great selection for most of Australia. Requires a well drained soil so is well suited for most garden beds, rockeries and pots. Regular deadheading or cutting these magnificent flowers for the vase will encourage even more flowers throughout the season.
