Mexican Orange Blossom (Choisya ternata) is a beautiful, hardy evergreen shrub renowned for its lush, glossy deep green foliage and masses of delightfully fragrant white flowers. Producing an abundance of delicate, star-shaped blooms with a sweet, citrus-like perfume during Spring, often followed by another flush later in the season, this stunning shrub brings wonderful colour, fragrance and year-round greenery to any garden. Its attractive, aromatic foliage releases a fresh citrus scent when brushed against or crushed, adding even more appeal to this versatile garden favourite.

Perfect for hedging, screening, garden borders, feature plantings and cottage-style gardens, Mexican Orange Blossom is an outstanding choice for creating attractive, fragrant evergreen structure. Its naturally dense, rounded growth habit makes it ideal for informal hedges and screens, while its excellent response to clipping allows it to be maintained as a neat, semi-formal hedge. Equally beautiful when grown in decorative pots and large containers, this charming shrub makes a wonderful feature for patios, courtyards, entranceways and outdoor entertaining areas, where its delightful perfume can be enjoyed up close. Plant individually as a feature shrub or in groups to create a lush, fragrant garden display.

Exceptionally hardy and easy to grow, Mexican Orange Blossom thrives in full sun to part shade and prefers fertile, well-drained soil enriched with organic matter. Frost tolerant and drought hardy once established, this reliable evergreen is well suited to a wide range of garden conditions, including urban and sheltered coastal gardens. For best results, water regularly during establishment, apply a slow-release fertiliser in Spring and lightly prune after flowering to maintain a compact, bushy shape and encourage further blooms. A fantastic choice for gardeners wanting a beautiful, fragrant and low-maintenance evergreen shrub that provides year-round colour, structure and elegance.
