Italian Pencil Pine is a stunning, elegant evergreen conifer, highly regarded as one of the finest green Pencil Pines available. Featuring attractive, dense blue-green foliage and a naturally narrow, upright growth habit, this magnificent tree creates a striking architectural statement in any garden or landscape. Its tall, slender form adds height, structure and a touch of Mediterranean elegance, making it a timeless favourite for both traditional and contemporary garden designs.

Perfect for framing entrances, lining driveways and pathways, creating formal avenues or adding dramatic vertical interest to garden beds, Italian Pencil Pine is an outstanding choice for landscaping. Its naturally columnar growth habit makes it particularly useful for narrow spaces where height is desired without taking up excessive garden width. Equally impressive when planted in decorative pots and large containers, this elegant conifer makes a spectacular feature for patios, courtyards, poolside areas and entranceways. Plant individually as a statement tree, in pairs for a formal entrance or in rows to create a stunning evergreen screen.

Exceptionally hardy and easy to grow, Italian Pencil Pine thrives in full sun to part shade and adapts to a wide range of soil types, provided drainage is adequate. Frost tolerant and drought hardy once established, this reliable evergreen requires very little maintenance to maintain its naturally neat, upright shape. Light trimming can be carried out if required to maintain a desired size or form, although its naturally slender growth habit generally requires little attention. A fantastic choice for gardeners wanting a sophisticated, low-maintenance feature tree that provides permanent greenery, elegance and architectural interest throughout the year.
