Conifer Leighton Green is a fast-growing, hardy evergreen conifer with attractive soft green foliage and a naturally dense, upright growth habit. An outstanding choice for hedging, screening and windbreaks, Leighton Green provides excellent year-round privacy and creates a lush green backdrop in any garden. Extremely versatile, this vigorous grower can be regularly clipped to maintain a neat, compact hedge of around 1–1.5 metres or left to develop into a tall, informal screen for larger gardens and properties.

With dormant buds beneath the bark that can encourage fresh growth, this variety responds well to regular trimming and shaping, making it an excellent choice for formal hedges and topiary. For best results, maintain a regular pruning schedule to encourage dense, bushy growth.
Exceptionally hardy and easy to grow, Conifer Leighton Green tolerates frost, wind and dry conditions once established. Thriving in full sun to part shade and adapting to a wide range of well-drained soils, this low-maintenance conifer is ideal for creating permanent garden structure, privacy screens and attractive evergreen boundaries.
