Blue Fescue Elijah Blue is a beautiful, hardy dwarf ornamental grass, prized for its striking silvery-blue foliage and naturally compact, mounding growth habit. Featuring fine, wiry leaves that form neat, rounded tufts, this attractive little grass provides wonderful colour, texture and contrast in the garden throughout the year. During Summer, delicate blue-green flower spikes rise gracefully above the foliage, adding extra interest and movement to this charming garden favourite.

Perfect for garden edging, borders, rockeries, mass plantings and contemporary landscapes, Blue Fescue Elijah Blue creates a stunning display when planted in groups or used to contrast with colourful flowering perennials. Its naturally tidy, compact habit makes it an excellent choice for low-growing borders and small garden spaces. Equally at home in decorative pots, patio containers and feature planters, this versatile ornamental grass brings a beautiful splash of cool blue colour to courtyards, balconies and outdoor entertaining areas. Unlike many ornamental grasses, Elijah Blue retains its attractive blue colouring even through relatively cold Winters, providing year-round garden interest.

Exceptionally hardy and easy to grow, Blue Fescue Elijah Blue thrives in full sun to part shade and prefers well-drained soil, performing particularly well in poorer soil conditions. Drought and frost tolerant once established, this low-maintenance grass requires very little attention to look its best. An occasional tidy-up to remove older foliage and spent flower stems will keep plants looking fresh and attractive. A fantastic choice for gardeners wanting a tough, colourful and dependable ornamental grass that delivers year-round beauty with minimal effort.
