Seed - Zucchini Lebanese

Zucchini Lebanese is a favourite variety with a wonderful sweet flavor all its own. It gives large yields of tender light-skinned fruits. Keep well watered and feed regularly. Zucchini are also known as Courgettes and are a versatile vegetable that can be enjoyed in many different ways; their flowers are also a gourmet delight and are served in top restaurants all around the world. Zucchini like a sunny, sheltered position and rich soil, and with a compact growth habit they are ideal for the garden or pots.

How To Grow Sow 12mm (half-inch) deep direct in final position. Sow 3 or 4 seeds in clumps, later thinning to the two strongest seedlings. Allow 100cm (3ft) between rows and space plants 100cm (3ft) apart. Keep the plants well watered and prepare the soil well by adding organic material and complete fertiliser.

Important Note These seeds may be treated with a fungicide (Thiram or Apron XL), do not eat the seeds or feed them to animals. Fungicide treatment is an AQIS requirement for certain varieties of seeds. It does not affect your crops or harm insects such as bees. If your packet has been treated it will be well marked with a warning and the seeds will be dyed a distinct colour.
