Salvia Lake Blueberry

Salvia Lake Blueberry is a beautiful flowering perennial that produces an abundance of rich blueberry-blue to violet-blue tubular flowers, beautifully contrasted against striking dark purple-black calyces. Its vibrant flower spikes rise above attractive green foliage, creating a stunning splash of colour in the garden throughout the warmer months while attracting bees, butterflies and other beneficial pollinators.

With its naturally compact, bushy growth habit and impressive flowering performance, Salvia Lake Blueberry is perfect for garden beds, borders, cottage gardens and decorative patio pots. The richly coloured blooms and dramatic dark calyces create a striking contrast against the lush green foliage, adding colour, texture and interest to any garden setting. Particularly beautiful when planted in groups or combined with other flowering perennials, this stunning Salvia is sure to make a statement.

Easy to grow and relatively low maintenance, Salvia Lake Blueberry thrives in a full sun to partly shaded position in well-drained soil. Once established, it is tolerant of heat and short dry periods. Regular removal of spent flowers and a light trim will encourage fresh growth, maintain a neat, compact shape and promote an extended display of beautiful blooms throughout the season.
