From the world famous breeder who brought us the amazing Flower Carpet Roses comes their next series of fabulous roses- the Fragrant Showpiece Shrub Roses. Featuring large FRAGRANT blooms with an Olde Worlde appearance, these disease resistant roses will produce a beautiful display of colour from early Spring right through till the first frosts of Winter. The masses of blooms that these plants produce will keep your vases full of flowers and the garden as well- there will be plenty to go round!
Once established, Fragrant Showpiece Shrub Roses are extraordinarily low maintenance and have exceptional disease resistance; and their well-developed root system means they’re drought and frost tolerant.
A well drained crumbly soil and regular fertilising will keep your rose in tip top condition throughout the year, and with the addition of organic matter to the soil you will increase it's tolerance to dry periods without too much additional watering. Like all roses Fragrant Showpiece Shrub Roses Prefer a sunny position but will flower albeit less prolifically in a lightly shaded position.
Pruning Fragrant Showpiece Shrub Roses is easy; regular picking of flowers for your enjoyment indoors will keep your rose looking neat and compact, and then give them a hard prune once a year, usually in Winter. Grab a pair of garden shears to cut them back by a third any which way.
Click & Collect lets you order online and pick up from our Monbulk Gift Shop & Nursery, with no delivery charge. Because many of our plants are grown to order or held until they're at their best, orders generally takes 2 – 4 working days to prepare.
