This beautiful alpine perennial is renowned for its outstanding flowering performance and compact, low-growing habit. Producing masses of bright pink blooms that almost smother the foliage, Rhodohypoxis Beverly is perfect for rock gardens, pathway borders, garden edging and container planting. Particularly stunning when planted in groups or allowed to form a colourful carpet, this gorgeous little groundcover brings months of vibrant colour and charm to sunny garden spaces. Winter deciduous, the foliage naturally dies back during the colder months before fresh new growth emerges in spring.
Easy to grow and relatively low maintenance, Rhodohypoxis Beverly thrives in a sunny position in well-drained soil. Excellent drainage is particularly important during winter when the plant is dormant, so a reasonably dry position is recommended to prevent waterlogging. Fertilise as fresh foliage begins to emerge in spring and water regularly during active growth, allowing the soil to drain freely. With a little care, this delightful perennial will reward you with an abundance of bright, cheerful flowers for months on end.
