An upright, native shrub that shows off royal purple flowers from Spring, Prostanthera Crocodile Mint has aromatic foliage that gives it the common name of Mint Bush. A hardy, fast growing medium sized shrub that bears royal purple flowers, Prostanthera Crocodile Mint attracts native birds and beneficial insects making it a very good in a habitat planting.

Prostanthera prefers full sun or part shade position in well drained soil. Makes a good coastal plant and will also tolerate clay soils. Drought hardy and frost tolerant once established. Prostanthera tends to be a naturally a compact shrub but can benefit from a light pruning after flowering.
