Being extremely easy to grow and relatively pest and disease free, they will flower for many weeks with a minimum of care.

Chrysanthemums are best grown in a cool to mild climate but will grow and flower well into the milder subtropics. Suitable in shrubberies borders pots and containers, Chrysanthemum prefer full sun and well drained soil. For a more compact bush tip prune young plants to encourage branching. Prune back after the first flush of flowers are finished for repeat flowering in the same season.
