A dense evergreen shrub, Phlomis Yellow Jerusalem Sage features beautiful silver-green felty foliage and clusters of curled yellow flowers arranged in a whorl against the stem. Tough and hardy, this shrub loves a dry spot and is very tolerant of drought.

Phlomis prefers a drier climate, and is perfect for the more Mediterranean garden where the elegant upright stems are rarely without flowers during the warmer months. Plant in a sunny position in a well drained soil. Phlomis will benefit from being cut back fairly hard every few years to keep plants young and fresh.
