Philodendron Pink Princess

Philodendron Pink Princess is one of those hard to find unicorn plants. This striking plant shows off foliage in a multitude of amazing colours, ranging from shades of pink, deep purple and burgundy, and even rich green with pale pink flecks. As the plant matures the colour may develop to show any variation of the amazing colours this variety is renowned for.

These beautiful plants are currently showing "medium colour"; hence the modest price, however, our supplier has assured us these were taken from well coloured parent plants so the colour should develop as the plants mature and age.

Like all variegated foliage plants, Philodendron Pink Princess is a relatively slow growing variety, and care needs to be taken with exposure to sunlight. Too much may burn the delicately coloured leaves.

An extremely exotic looking foliage plant, Philodendron grows well a warm humid environment but is quite hardy in all barring the coolest climates. Philodendrons grow best in a sheltered draught free position in bright indirect light, and regular watering is required whilst the plant is actively growing. Water once the soil becomes dry and do not do not let the plant become waterlogged as this will cause fungal issues and most likely death. For best results fertilise regularly with a slow release fertiliser and repot every few years using a good quality potting mix for indoor plants. In warmer climates, these gorgeous plants will brighten up a sheltered shady position outside.
