Our Penstemon Pep Talk Collection includes 1 each of three varieties (separately labelled):

Hot Pink - A showoff with long lasting spires of bright pink tubular flowers with a stunning white throat.

Purple - Showing off elegant spires of glorious purple tubular flowers with a vibrant white throat for most of the year.

Cerise - Stunning spires of cerise to mauve/pink tubular flowers with a contrasting white throat.

Showcasing new breeding on a classic perennial, the Penstemon Pep Talk range is part of a new generation of Penstemon breeding that has resulted in compact, long flowering plants on a sturdy upright shrub. Penstemon are extremely attractive to bees, butterflies and all the beneficial insects, as well as creating a stunning brightly coloured bunch of flowers as these amazing plants also look excellent when the tall stems are picked for the vase.

Penstemon are extremely hardy and will easily withstand both extremes of the weather. A reliable consistent performer in the heat of Summer, as well as being frost tolerant makes these beautiful cottage perennials suitable for a wide range of positions and soils. Preferring a full sun position, penstemon will also grow well in a shaded position but they might not flower as prolifically as if they were in the sun. For best results prune fairly hard in Winter to rejuvenate and stop plants from becoming woody.
