Osteospermum Serenity Dark Purple

Osteospermum Serenity Dark Purple is a gorgeous ground cover African Daisy that will create a mounded ground cover for your garden, or look equally stunning in a large pot. The large Daisy like flowers are a mysterious dark purple colour, changing as they age making a beautiful bi-colour effect all over the plant.

Osteospermum are also known as Veldt Daisies; these low growing ground covers are very easy to grow and maintain. Their vibrant blooms make them ideal for borders, flower beds, and mixed gardens. They also perform well in rock gardens and coastal landscapes due to their adaptability. Heat and frost tolerant, Osteospermum will bloom repeatedly most of the year in a sunny position. Once established the weeds will really struggle to push through and over run these mounding groundcover plants. Prefers a full sun to part shade position and are extremely low maintenance. Ideal for sunny borders and great for container planting where the long flowering season and abundance of bright and cheery flowers will make them a feature for most of the year.
