Oenothera prefers a full sun to part shade position and is and excellent choice for the hot and dry areas of most gardens. Very much sought after for attracting bees to gardens, Evening Primrose makes a wonderful plant for a rockery or a pot.
**Evening Primrose can self seed and become potentially invasive in some environments so should not be planted near bushland or other sensitive areas. Regular deadheading will help to avoid seed dispersal.
