A very drought tough plant with a smaller height for mass planting in landscapes, Shara survives in severe drought and flood, is VERY good in humid locations and heavier soils. And to top is all off, is a great erosion control plant.

We love Shara for her soft fine foliage, bank-binding skills, resilience in humid climates, and is also a soft and kid friendly plant. This tidy, compact Lomandra features more flowers than most forms and they sit well above the foliage.
Practically unkillable, Lomandra are suitable for a full sun to part shade position in most soil types. Lomandra requires little maintenance, making them great for borders and edging, If required, plants respond well to a prune in early Autumn. Lomandra grows well in full sun to part shade, and are drought, frost and salt tolerant when established, making them suitable for coastal planting.
