This elegant lilac is perfect as a specimen plant, informal hedge, or feature in mixed borders, combining visual impact with the classic, nostalgic fragrance Lilacs are known for.
Lilacs are a beautiful specimen plant, highly prized for its outstanding Spring floral display. Clusters of fragrant blooms appear in Spring, adding vibrant colour and perfume to the garden.
Hardy and easy to grow, Lilacs thrive in well-drained, sandy soils, preferably slightly alkaline and enriched with lime. For best performance, plant in a sunny or lightly shaded position, where they will reward you with abundant, showy flowers year after year.
**Take care to plant the bud union approximately 5 to 10cm BELOW the soil level.
