Lavender French

French Lavender is a beautiful evergreen shrub prized for its aromatic, finely toothed grey-green foliage and elegant spikes of soft lavender-purple flowers. Flowering over an exceptionally long period, often throughout much of the year in warmer climates, this delightful Lavender brings a touch of Mediterranean charm to any garden.

With its naturally bushy, rounded growth habit and masses of delicate flowers held above the fragrant foliage, French Lavender is perfect for garden beds, borders, low hedging, cottage gardens and decorative pots. Its beautiful blooms are highly attractive to bees and other beneficial pollinators, making it a wonderful addition to wildlife-friendly gardens.

Easy to grow and low maintenance, French Lavender thrives in a full sun position with well-drained soil. Once established, it is drought tolerant and performs particularly well in hot, dry conditions. It also tolerates coastal environments, making it a versatile choice for a wide range of garden settings.

For best results, lightly prune after flowering to encourage fresh growth and maintain a neat, compact shape. Avoid heavy pruning into old woody stems. With its delightful fragrance, attractive foliage and long-lasting floral display, French Lavender is a timeless garden favourite that delivers colour and charm with minimal effort.
