Kniphofia Rocket JNR

Kniphofia Rocket Junior is a spectacular dwarf Red Hot Poker that delivers a fiery display of vibrant colour in a compact, easy-care plant. Producing masses of striking, upright flower spikes in brilliant red-orange tones that gradually fade to glowing golden-yellow, this stunning perennial creates a dazzling display from Summer through Autumn.

With its neat, clumping habit and attractive, narrow grass-like green foliage, Rocket Junior is perfect for smaller gardens, sunny borders, rockeries, mass plantings and decorative patio pots. Growing to approximately 40cm tall, this compact variety provides all the dramatic colour of traditional Kniphofias without taking up too much space. The nectar-rich flowers are also highly attractive to bees, butterflies and other beneficial pollinators.

Hardy and low maintenance, Kniphofia Rocket Junior thrives in a sunny position with well-drained soil. Once established, it is tolerant of dry conditions, frost and coastal environments. Water regularly during extended dry periods and remove spent flower spikes to encourage fresh blooms throughout the flowering season.
