A popular flowering succulent plant, known for its vibrant, colourful blooms, the Kalanchoe Calandiva series are double-flowering varieties that show off magnificent heads featuring clusters of rose-like flowers in a range of bold colours.

This series features an excellent flowering life making these varieties ideal as cut flowers or as potted plants. The delicate buds open into vibrant coloured blooms that are framed by deep green foliage, making a natural bouquet. Kalanchoes are not particularly hard to grow, and are highly rewarding for their colourful and long-lasting flowers.

In warmer areas they can be planted in a shady position in the garden, with morning sun, but protect from hot afternoon sun. Water moderately throughout the Summer, and reduce watering in the Winter. Like most succulents, allow the soil surface dry out a little between waterings, and in the Winter, the plant can almost dry out. Watch the fleshy foliage for signs of water distress.
