Hydrangea White Knight

Hydrangea White Knight is a striking variety that pairs pure white flower heads with deep, dark foliage and stems, creating a bold and elegant contrast in the garden. Unlike many other Hydrangeas, the flower colour remains consistently white, unaffected by soil pH.

More compact in habit than other varieties, White Knight typically grows to around 90 cm to 1.2 metres tall and wide, making it ideal for smaller gardens, borders, or container planting. Its tidy form and distinctive colouring make it a standout feature through the flowering season.

Hydrangea are reliable shrubs that produce a fantastic display every Summer with clusters of pink, blue or white flowers that are hard to miss, plus their large leaves give a lush feeling that will liven up any corner of the garden. Now with breeders producing smaller plants and different coloured varieties they are among the showiest of Summer-Autumn flowering plants. Intensity of the flower colour will vary depending on the soil pH and can be altered by using ‘pinking’ or blueing’ fertilisers. Prefers morning sun and afternoon shade, however, they do not do well in heavy shade. Suitable for large pots or containers.
