Hydrangea Pee Wee is perfect for lighting up shaded areas of the garden and makes a stunning pot on your verandah. A smaller version of the stunning Oak Leaf Hydrangea, Pee Wee features a more compact growth habit along with smaller leaves and flowers that the original, but don't let this make you think this one is any less magnificent than the larger version! Like the original, Pee Wee shows off exceptional colouring to the Oak Leaf shaped foliage in Autumn as they change from their Summery green into all versions of oranges, reds and yellows. And the beautifully long lasting white Summer flowers are easily capable of reaching up to 30cm tall making this an extremely attractive shrub for smaller gardens and pots.

Hydrangea are reliable shrubs that produce a fantastic display every Summer with clusters of pink, blue or white flowers that are hard to miss, plus their large leaves give a lush feeling that will liven up any corner of the garden. Now with breeders producing smaller plants and different coloured varieties they are among the showiest of summer-autumn flowering plants. Intensity of the flower colour will vary depending on the soil pH and can be altered by using ‘pinking’ or blueing’ fertilisers. Prefers morning sun and afternoon shade, however, they do not do well in heavy shade. Suitable for large pots or containers.
