Hollyhock Chaters Double Mixed

Hollyhock Chaters Double Mixed is a stunning and traditional cottage garden favourite, known for its tall spires of fully double, ruffled blooms in a wide mix of rich, vibrant colours.

These stately perennials can reach impressive heights of up to 1.8–2.5 metres, making them ideal for planting at the back of borders, along fences or walls, or as a dramatic vertical feature in any garden. The large, peony-like flowers bloom in shades of pink, red, yellow, white, and maroon, creating a breathtaking summer display from mid to late season.

A traditional favourite in cottage gardens, Hollyhocks are a hardy perennial with tall racemes of large showy blooms in Spring and Summer. An easy to grow and maintain plant, the tall varietes grow best in a sheltered position away from strong winds. With their long flowering season and lush and abundant blooms, they are an excellent choice for attrancting beneficial pollinators to your garden. For best resuts select a full sun position in well drained fertile soil. Regular watering during dry spells will ensure a long and prolific flowering period. We recommend staking to maintain an upward growth habit.
