Heuchera Berry Smoothie

Heuchera Berry Smoothie is a stunning foliage perennial renowned for its spectacular, ever-changing shades of vibrant rose-pink, raspberry and rich berry-purple. Its large, beautifully rounded, gently ruffled leaves emerge in brilliant shades of pink in Spring, gradually deepening to rich, rosy-purple tones as the seasons progress. Delicate sprays of tiny, creamy-white flowers appear on slender stems above the colourful foliage during Summer, adding an extra touch of charm to this already impressive plant.

With its naturally compact, mounding habit and lush, colourful foliage, Berry Smoothie is perfect for brightening shaded garden beds, woodland gardens, borders and decorative patio pots. The striking leaves provide a wonderful splash of colour throughout the year, creating a beautiful contrast when planted alongside ferns, Hostas and other shade-loving perennials. Particularly spectacular when planted in groups or used as colourful garden edging, this gorgeous Heuchera adds texture, depth and year-round interest to any garden setting.

Hardy, reliable and wonderfully easy to grow, Heuchera Berry Smoothie thrives in a partly shaded position with rich, moist, well-drained soil. Protect from harsh afternoon sun, particularly in warmer climates, to prevent scorching of the delicate foliage. Water regularly during dry periods, especially while plants are establishing, and remove spent flower stems and older leaves to maintain a fresh, tidy appearance. A magnificent, low-maintenance perennial that delivers outstanding foliage colour and garden appeal throughout the seasons.
