An excellent choice for a larger hedge, Nematolepis Green Sentry is a bushy large shrub to small tree that features aromatic lance shaped foliage and attractive clusters of delicate looking white flowers in Spring, followed by star shaped fruit capsules.

Typcally found in elevated mountainous areas, this lovely Australian native copes incredibly well with poor soils, and is quite resilient to withstanding dry periods. Nematolepis is often used in conservation plantings and is extremely attractive to pollinators making it a useful choice when encouraging biodiversity to your garden, and on top of all this it tolerates cutting back to make an attractive hedge.

Nematolepis grows well in full sun or part shade, and grows well as a potted specimen or in a coastal garden. Requires a well drained soil and will tolerate mild frosts.
