Haworthia Glauca Green

A slow growing succulent, Haworthia Glauca Green has a number of different names; Haworthiopsis glauca is just one of them. This small growing succulent shows off stacked foliage arranged in a spiral along the stem, eventually forming a small colony of knobbly stems. Naturally a deep green colour, bright sunlight and stress will flush the foliage to an attractive copper to magenta colouration making this extremely eyecatching in all phases of growth.

Haworthia plants form a compact yet non-uniform rosette and are gorgeous tucked into a little pot or container of your choice with some pebbles to anchor the mix. Be really careful not to overwater, particularly over Winter as this plant will not recover from wet feet.

Super easy to grow and care for, Succulents require a gritty free draining potting mix or soil and minimal water. Haworthia tolerates a fair bit of shade but requires a fairly bright indirect light position for best colouration and requires a position free from frost. A well lit area inside is also suitable for these plants making them extremely versatile for landscaping or enjoying indoors in terrariums or pots.

Extra care is taken when packaging these plants however they are delicate and some leaves may become detached during transit. Dislodged leaves can be easily re-propagated into new plants.
