Dwarf Nandina Nana, also known as Dwarf Sacred Bamboo, is a beautiful, hardy evergreen shrub renowned for its spectacular changing foliage colours and naturally compact, rounded growth habit. Featuring attractive, finely divided leaves in fresh lime-green tones that gradually develop brilliant shades of orange, crimson and fiery red during Autumn and Winter, this charming little shrub provides a stunning display of colour throughout the year. Its dense, bushy form and vibrant seasonal foliage make it an outstanding choice for adding warmth, texture and year-round interest to any garden.

Perfect for low hedging, garden borders, edging, rockeries and mass plantings, Dwarf Nandina Nana is an exceptionally versatile landscaping plant. Its naturally neat, compact growth habit makes it ideal for creating colourful, low-maintenance borders without the need for regular clipping. Particularly impressive when planted in groups, its changing foliage creates a spectacular carpet of colour that brightens garden beds and contrasts beautifully with other evergreen shrubs. Equally attractive in decorative pots and containers, Nandina Nana makes a wonderful feature for patios, courtyards, balconies and outdoor entertaining areas, where its brilliant seasonal colours can be enjoyed up close.

Practically indestructible once established, Dwarf Nandina Nana thrives in full sun to part shade and adapts well to a wide range of garden conditions. For the most intense red and crimson foliage colours, plant in a sunny, exposed position where the cooler Autumn and Winter temperatures will encourage its spectacular colour transformation. Frost and humidity tolerant and requiring very little water once established, this reliable evergreen is an excellent choice for low-maintenance gardens. An occasional tidy-up to remove older foliage and a light application of fertiliser during Spring will keep plants looking lush and healthy. A fantastic choice for gardeners wanting a tough, colourful and dependable dwarf shrub that delivers beautiful foliage interest throughout the year.
