Bred for the cut flower market, Gerberas are extremely desirable for their fabulous performance as cut flowers. With an extremely long vase life it's time to add them to your garden so you can grow your own exquisite bouquets. Gerberas are ideal grown in a pot or massed in a huge tub, or taking their place in a warm protected garden bed. Gerberas flower from Spring onwards in warmer regions and from Summer in cooler temperate regions. Prefers a full sun position in well drained soil, treat regularly with a fungicide in cooler climates.

**Ellepot Growcells are similar to Jiffy pots making them perfect for reducing transplanting shock as the root system of the plant does not get disturbed when planting out. For shipping we are sitting them into our plastic shippers to keep them secure in the mail. On arrival your Gerbera plants will need to be planted out as soon as possible and regular watering during the warmer weather is essential. For planting out simply plant your Gerbera, leaving the Growcell intact, and plant in a sheltered position or place it into a larger pot with a good quality potting mix.
