Our Fruit Salad Collection consists of:

Raspberry Golden Yellow- (Rubus idaeus); bears medium sized golden yellow berries with a sweet 'raspberry lemonade' flavour. A Floricane variety, Golden Yellow fruits on the previous year's growth, and the fruit is less acid than normal red Raspberries. Prefers a full sun to part shade and likes weekly watering in Summer. Supplied as a pack of 1 dormant cane. Grows 1.5m high x 50cm-1m wide

Strawberry Adina- (Fragaria x ananassa); produces large wedge shaped fruit that look and taste wonderful. Highly rated for the best combination of taste, juiciness, aroma and appearance, Adina has been described as 'the perfect Strawberry'. Supplied as a pack of 5 bare rooted runners. Grows 15cm high x 20cm wide

Raspberry Chilcotin-(Rubus idaeus); a high yielding variety cropping early and then again late in the season.  Canes produce sweet red fruit during Summer.   A Floricane variety, Raspberry Chilcotin fruits on the previous year's growth. Supplied as a pack of 1 dormant cane. Grows 1.5m high x 50cm-1m wide

Boysenberry- (Rubus ursinus x idaeus); thought to be a hybrid between Thornless Blackberry, American Dewberry, Loganberry and Raspberry, the fruit is aromatic and a little tart to taste. Great eaten as fresh fruit in fruit salads but fruit is quite soft and juicy and does not store terribly well, meaning you rarely see these delicacies in shops.Harvest early Summer. For best results train plants over a trellis and remove old dead canes in Vinter, leaving only vigorous healthy canes to produce the next crop. Protect fruit from extreme heat and ensure adequate water while fruit develops. Pick fruit when fully ripe for maximum sweetness. Prefers full sun to part shade. Supplied as a pack of 1 dormant cane. Grows 1.5-2m high & wide

Protect Raspberries/Boysenberries from extreme heat and damaging winds during Summer. Needs a well drained fertile soil and adequate water during the Summer months. Raspberries require a cold Winter to enable adequate fruit set. Lightly thin canes in Winter as these Raspberry varieties will flower and fruit on the previous season's growth. Plant 30cm apart. Prefers a full sun to part shade and likes weekly watering in Summer.

Strawberries are best suited to cooler climates as warmer climates and humidity can cause fungal issues to develop. Plant into a well drained, well fertilised soil for best results. Plants need regular watering during the fruiting season and at least 6 hours of sun per day to fruit well. Mulching is recommended to retain moisture and limit weed growth.
