An evergreen perennial, Erysimum are also known as Wallflowers, however there is nothing shy and retiring about this beautiful and fragrant compact shrubby plant. With a long flowering period, Erysimum will show off amazing colour from early Spring right through till late Summer, asking for nothing much more than an occasional watering in dry conditions and a cut back at the end of the season.

An excellent plant for attracting beneficial insects, Erysimum grows best in a well drained soil in a sunny position, but they will tolerate a partly shaded position. Too much shade will encourage plants to become leggy and produce less flowers so ensure a good 4-6 hours of sunlight throughout the growing months.
