This variety is needs a cross pollinator planted nearby to ensure good fruit set; Buerre Bosc, Williams, Packhams Triumph or any of the other Dwarf Summer Crunch® Pears are suitable for this.
Our Dwarf Pear has been grafted onto a dwarfing rootstock to produce a more compact tree growing to around 2-3 m tall, however the fruit produced will be normal sized, making it a very convenient fruit tree for back yards.
Requires a full sun position in a well fertilised soil. Like all produce plants, correct pruning, regular fertilising and watering will result in an abundance of fruit.
