Dwarf Pear Packham Triumph

Dwarf Pear Packham Triumph is an Australian-bred heirloom variety and one of the most widely grown Pears in the country. This slow-ripening Pear can be enjoyed both firm or fully softened, offering versatility straight from the tree or after storage. The fruit features delicious sweet white flesh beneath a smooth pale green skin, making it excellent for fresh eating, cooking and preserving. Known as a reliable all-rounder, Packham Triumph also stores well, extending its usability after harvest. Grafted onto dwarfing rootstock, this compact form is well suited to smaller gardens, courtyards and home orchards while still producing generous crops of classic, high-quality pears.

A compact fruit tree perfect for small gardens and backyards, this Dwarf Pear is grafted onto a dwarfing rootstock, resulting in a tree that grows to just 2–3 metres tall—while still producing full-sized, delicious pears.

To ensure a reliable crop, this variety requires a cross-pollinator nearby. Compatible pollinators include Josephine de Malines, Baby Face, or any other Dwarf Summer Crunch® Pears.

Plant in a full sun position in well-fertilised, free-draining soil. As with all fruiting trees, regular pruning, feeding, and consistent watering—especially during the warmer months—will help ensure a healthy tree and a generous crop.
