Dichondra Emerald Falls

A fast growing trailing perennial plant known for its lush, cascading foliage, Dichondra Emerald Falls is a popular choice for hanging baskets, over retaining walls and makes an excellent trailing groundcover plant. Showing off fresh green kidney shaped foliage, Emerald Falls is an incredibly versatile ground cover or trailing plant that can transform any landscape with its lush, vibrant appearance.

Extremely drought and heat tolerant, Dichondra Emerald Falls provides a vigorous ground hugging tight cover, and is very good for growing in a trailing basket where it makes an impressive display by quickly trailing elegantly over the edges of the pot.

Dichondra grows well in a partly shaded to full sun position, and whilst it is capable of surviving dry periods, for best results we recommend regular watering, particularly if growing in a pot or hanging basket.

An adaptable plant, Dichondra prefers a well drained, moist fertile soil, but will grow in a slightly boggy or poor soil. Regular fertilising in a pot or basket will keep this plant looking it's best.
