Dicentra produces clusters of delicate, heart-shaped flowers that gracefully dangle above lacy, fern-like foliage throughout the warmer months, before going dormant in Winter. This charming woodland perennial prefers a partly shaded position in moist, well-drained soil. Ideal for borders, edging, containers, or tubs, it adds a soft, romantic touch to any shaded space. For best results, ensure consistent moisture during hot, dry periods to support prolonged flowering and healthy growth. When planting, position with the crown of the plant at soil level to ensure strong growth.
