Our Dahlia Ball Collection has 1 each of four varieties (separately labelled):

Burgundy Ball - Tightly ball shaped blooms of burgundy create a gorgeous highlight against the deep green foliage.

Honeycomb - Beautifully formed golden bronze flowers.

Eureka - Producing beautiful flowers with creamy lemon petals highlighted by delicate pink tips. The rounded flower heads change dramatically in colour as the flowers age with the pink edges fading to a delicate shade.

Edinburgh - Beautifully dramatic purple blooms that are tipped with white.

Ball Dahlias are also known as Pompom Dahlias; their small and somewhat intricate sphere shape makes them visually intriguing. The petite rounded blooms are usually 5-7cm in diameter making them an interesting and beautiful addition to a flower arrangement or garden bed.

Possibly the most photographed flower in the world, Dahlias are easy to grow and provide stunning blooms from late Spring all the way through till late Autumn; making them the crown jewels of any garden. With their amazing array of colours, intricate petal structures, and sizes ranging from petite Pompons to grand Dinner Plates, (and everything in between); Dahlias are an excellent choice for a long lasting display of colour.

Perfect for garden beds, borders, or cut flower arrangements, Dahlias will add a touch of elegance and vibrant colour to your garden with minimal effort. For best results select a sunny position and plant into a well drained fertile soil or a large pot or tub containing a premuim potting mix. Regular fertilising with a complete fertiliser and watering during dry periods will ensure a fabulous display throughout the season. We recommend staking taller plants to support them in maintaining an upwards growth habit.
