A stunning and versatile foliage plant, Coleus features brightly coloured velvety foliage in a wide range of colours and shapes. Perfect for potted colour or a sheltered position, this low maintenance plant only needs a trim now and then to keep it looking compact and bushy.

In the garden Coleus grows best in a well drained soil and requires regular watering during dry periods. In pots they appreciate regular watering, but do not let the plant become waterlogged as this will cause fungal issues and most likely death, particularly during Winter. For best results fertilise regularly with a slow release fertiliser and repot every few year using a good quality General Purpose potting mix.

Regular light pruning will keep this plant compact and looking young and fresh as foliage begins to fade when plants become woody.
