Calathea Freddy

Calathea Freddy is a stunning tropical foliage plant prized for its beautifully patterned, elongated leaves. Featuring elegant silver-green foliage with striking deep green feather-like markings, this eye-catching variety brings a touch of tropical elegance to any indoor space.

A member of the Prayer Plant family, Calathea Freddy forms an attractive, compact clump of lush foliage that adds colour, texture and interest to your home or office. Its beautifully patterned leaves gently move in response to changing light throughout the day, adding an extra touch of charm. Perfect for decorative pots, indoor displays and sheltered patios, this gorgeous plant can also be grown outdoors in warmer climates in a protected, shady position.

Calathea Freddy thrives in a warm, brightly lit position away from direct sunlight, which can scorch its delicate foliage. Preferring well-drained soil and moderate to high humidity, this tropical beauty appreciates regular watering to keep the soil lightly moist without becoming waterlogged. Reduce watering during Winter and protect from cold temperatures and draughts.

For best results, fertilise during the warmer growing months with a suitable indoor plant fertiliser and repot every few years using a premium quality potting mix. With its spectacular foliage and elegant growth habit, Calathea Freddy is a wonderful choice for bringing a lush, tropical feel to your indoor living spaces.
