Bracteantha Silvery Rose

Bracteantha Silvery Rose is a compact plant that has a neat rounded growth habit and features masses of flowers in beautiful shades of pale rose pink to white. With a long flowering season this hardy groundcover will provide months of colour in the garden or pot with a minimum of fuss. Also known as Paper Daisies, or Everlasting Daisies, the stunning flowers of this variety will completely cover the foliage for most of the warmer months.

Once established Xerochrysum are heat and drought tolerant and will tolerate light frosts. Their fast growth and narrow green leaves make these an attractive ground cover that is suitable for garden beds, rockeries, containers and they will look great in hanging baskets where the full beauty of the long lasting delicate looking flowers can be enjoyed close up. Xerochrysum will provide a food source for many beneficial insects and butterflies and are also wonderful for using as a cut flower. Paper Daisies are perfect for drying where they retain their colour and shape for a very long time. Prefers a full sun to part shade position in a moist well-drained soil.
