Bracteantha Mohave Orange

Bracteantha Mohave Orange is an early-flowering variety known for its large, vibrant orange blooms held above dark green foliage. With a long flowering season, this delightful groundcover provides months of colour in the garden or in pots.

Also known as Paper Daisies or Everlasting Daisies, the bright, eye-catching flowers of this variety retain their colour even when dried—making them perfect for dried floral arrangements as well.

Once established Xerochrysum are heat and drought tolerant and will tolerate light frosts. Their fast growth and narrow green leaves make these an attractive ground cover that is suitable for garden beds, rockeries, containers and they will look great in hanging baskets where the full beauty of the long lasting delicate looking flowers can be enjoyed close up. Xerochrysum will provide a food source for many beneficial insects and butterflies and are also wonderful for using as a cut flower. Paper Daisies are perfect for drying where they retain their colour and shape for a very long time. Prefers a full sun to part shade position in a moist well-drained soil.
