A stunning foliage plant, Begonia Maculata- Polka Dot Plant is an extremely decorative houseplant with narrow olive green leaves dramatically splashed with white spots, giving it the very descriptive common name of Polka Dot Plant or Angel Wings plant. Making an excellent feature plant in it's own right, the leaves of this beautiful Begonia feature dark purple undersides, and it will also show off dainty pink flowers in Summer.

Perfect for pots or containers, Begonias thrive in a bright indoor position, away from direct sunlight or a sheltered outdoor spot. A rich well drained soil is a must. Regular watering is essential but plants do not like to be waterlogged, and it is best if the delicate foliage is kept dry to avoid fungal diseases.
Preferring light humidity, Begonia appreciate regular watering, but do not let the plant become waterlogged as this will cause fungal issues and most likely death, particularly during Winter. Fertilise regularly when the plant is actively growing during the warmer months.
