Begonia Gremlin

Grown for their amazing foliage, Begonia Gremlin makes quite a statement with it's intricately patterned foliage and the incredibly cute hairs around the edges of each leaf.

Also known as Eyelash Begonias, for obvious reasons when you take a close look at the plant; these delightful foliage plnts are perfect as a feature in their own right as the unique form and colorationmake quite a talking point. Begonia Gremlin also makes a wonderful addition when placed amongst other indoor or potted plants due to the outstanding patterning displayed on the foliage.

Perfect for pots or containers, the Bowerae group of Begonias like similar conditions to the flowering type of Begonias. A bright indoor position, away from direct sunlight or a sheltered outdoor spot and a rich well drained soil are a must. Regular watering is essential but plants do not like to be waterlogged, and it is best if the delicate foliage is kept dry to avoid fungal diseases.

Preferring light humidity, Begonias appreciate regular watering, but do not let the plant become waterlogged as this will cause fungal issues and most likely death, particularly during Winter. In cooler climates, Begonia Rex may go dormant during Winter. Keep the soil reasonably dry by watering lightly every 4-6 weeks and the rhizomes should reshoot in Spring as the weather begins to warm.
