Begonia Bossa Nova White

A beautiful choice for a hanging basket, Begonia Bossa Nova White features large clear white blooms and a stunning trailing growth habit. Like all the Begonias in this series, Bossa Nova White will be a mass of blooms from late Spring all the way through till the weather becomes cold, and longer if it is in a sheltered warm climate.

A fantastic feature for hanging baskets, the Begonia Bossa Nova series are mounding plants that will quickly fill out the basket or pot creating a stunning and colourful display for many months of the year. Bossa Novas have vigorous arching stems that become covered in blooms for a long period. With self-cleaning flowers, no dead heading is necessary. Begonias add flair to the front of a border or provide a magnificent display in pots, with the trailing varieties making an excellent plant for a hanging basket. Prefers a full sun position in cooler regions and part shade position (filtered light is perfect) in warmer regions. going dormant in the cooler weather, tubers usually resprout in Spring and repeat flower for many months during the warmer weather. A well drained soil and regular fertilising is essential to keep these plants flowering prolifically. Pruning is not normally required but plants may be trimmed to keep them compact and fresh looking, protect from the cold and frost.
