Baby Sunrose is a member of the Ice Plant type of plants. Also known as the Heartleaf Iceplant, this fast growing ground hugging plant has attractive heart shaped leaves and dainty reddish pink flowers. This plant is perfect for weed suppression as it grows on top of itself and forms a thick mat as it grows, not letting in any light which stops weeds from being able to grow. The pretty bird and butterfly attracting flowers are held open when the sun shines, and will stay firmly shut on overcast days.
