Like most perennial plants, Asters are an extremely hardy and long flowering addition to your garden. Also known as Michelmas or Easter Daisy, this easy care plant requires very little care to enable it to thrive. The long lasting flowers attract bees, birds and butterflies and make a wonderful addition in floral arrangements. Prefers a full sun to part shade position, and regular watering during dry spells. Cut back to ground level in late Winter or whenever they are beginning to look ratty and fertilise once a yearin Spring.
