Also known as Thrift, or Sea Thrift, Armeria Morning Star Rose is a mound forming evergreen plant that features balls of rose pink flowers held high above the bright green tufted foliage. Extremely hardy and very easy to grow, this charming plant is a delightful perennial that is perfect for creating a stunning addition anywhere it is planted with its bright, cheerful blooms and compact growth habit.

An excellent rockery or edging plant, Armeria is also suitable for container planting where it fills the pot with it's dainty foliage and flowers held on show for most of the year. Regular deadheading will keep these beauties repeat flowering. Thrift prefers a full sun to part shade position in well drained soil, and copes well with salt which makes it excellent for coastal planting. Armeria is bird, bee and butterfly attracting so is always a great addition to attract wildlife to the garden.
