The Earlybird series has been bred for improved performance, flowering earlier in cooler climates and thriving in warmer regions thanks to its low cold requirement. This makes it suitable for gardeners across a wide range of climates.
Also known as Granny's Bonnets or Columbines, Aquilegia forms neat clumps of delicate, fan-shaped foliage. Graceful flower stems rise above the leaves, carrying spurred blooms that sway gently in the breeze. Prefers a full sun to part shade position and is ideal for cottage gardens, mixed borders and pots.
